HYPNOTHERAPY

HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapy gently takes you beneath the surface–where patterns are held beyond willpower and logic.

In this calm, focused state, change can unfold in a way that feels more natural, more easeful, and often more la

This work is especially effective for those who feel stuck in patterns that haven’t shifted through insight or willpower alone.

What Hypnotherapy Actually is

Hypnotherapy is a deeply relaxed state — similar to meditation — in which your mind becomes calm, focused, and open. In this state you are completely aware the entire time. You hear everything. You remain in control.

As the conscious mind quiets, the patterns beneath the surface begin to come into view—the ones influencing your beliefs, habits, and emotional responses, and that don’t shift through willpower alone.

This is where meaningful, lasting change begins.

It’s a different way of working with those patterns. Not forcing. Not fixing. Simply allowing old ways of thinking and responding to shift, and creating space for something that supports you more fully.

What a Session Feels Like

Before we begin, we take a little time to talk.
I want to understand what you’re wanting to shift, so the session can be guided in a way that truly supports you.

The experience itself is deeply relaxing.
You’re gently guided throughout—there’s nothing you need to do, just listen and allow yourself to settle.

When we finish, I bring you back to full wakefulness feeling relaxed, clear, and grounded.
Most people leave the session feeling lighter than when they arrived.

FOCUSED AREAS OF WORK

The Body Homecoming — Weight Loss

Most women already know that dieting doesn’t create lasting change — and yet the message to eat less and push more never seems to stop.

The Body Homecoming begins from a completely different place.

For many women, struggles with weight are not about discipline, but about deeper emotional patterns—often formed long before conscious choice had any say in the matter. Until those patterns are addressed at the level where they live, willpower alone will eventually fall short.

This work takes a whole-woman approach.

We explore the emotional and mental patterns shaping your relationship with food and your body. We consider what your body needs at this stage of life. And we use hypnotherapy to support meaningful, lasting change at a deeper level.

This is not another diet.
It’s a coming home to your body—perhaps for the first time.

In a recent group program, participants lost an average of eleven pounds in four weeks.

This reflects one group’s experience. Individual results vary based on factors such as readiness and consistency.

Quit Smoking

If you’ve tried to quit before and found yourself pulled back, you already know that willpower alone isn’t enough.

That’s not a weakness—it reflects how deeply smoking becomes connected to your emotional and physical responses.

Hypnotherapy allows us to work directly with those patterns.

The triggers, the cravings, the automatic reach in moments of stress or habit—these begin to shift, so your responses feel more natural and less driven by old conditioning.

The most important factor is readiness.
When you genuinely want to quit, this process can feel far more easeful and sustainable than what you may have tried before.

This program includes a minimum of four sessions to support those changes fully taking hold.

What Hypnotherapy Can Do — A Story

I worked with a client who was a brilliant, deeply talented musician with severe stage fright.

Despite his ability, anxiety would take over during performances—his hands would shake, he would forget lyrics, and the tension would build no matter how well prepared he was. It was also affecting his relationship at home.

The shift happened in a single session.

Afterward, he performed without a single mistake. His confidence on stage changed completely. And his wife later shared how much lighter things felt between them.

Single Issue Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can support change in many areas, depending on what you’re ready to shift.

Some common areas include:

  • Anxiety — supporting a calmer nervous system and more grounded responses
  • Confidence — feeling more at ease in yourself and your life
  • Sleep — allowing the mind to settle and rest more deeply
  • Performance anxiety / stage fright — feeling more present and steady under pressure
  • Phobias — gently shifting automatic fear responses
  • Sports performance — strengthening focus, consistency, and resilience

If you don’t see your specific concern listed, it’s always worth asking.
This work often applies more broadly than people expect.
